The recognition cluster is genuinely good HUD design. Three separate affordances (outfit, face, vehicle) that each communicate their own decay state, so the player always knows WHY they are still being tracked. Plain text prompts without button glyphs is classic unfinished-build UI, that part screams internal branch.
The little wink about the pink-and-cyan palette made me laugh. If Rockstar does anything like this for real, I want the clubhouse UI signage to be loud and legible, none of that unreadable neon blur.
Interesting framing. The uncanny valley risk is real but I think the bigger issue is performance cost. Every generational leap in fidelity gets marketed as too real, then a year later it is the baseline. What would actually be new is if the NPC animation quality holds up outside scripted scenes.
