Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of wikigtavi (the “Site”). By visiting, browsing, registering an account or contributing content you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

wikigtavi is a community-curated fan wiki for Grand Theft Auto VI. We are an independent fan project and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or any of their subsidiaries.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site, and at least 16 years old to register an account or contribute content. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Nature of the wiki

wikigtavi catalogues confirmed lore, trailer details, fan theories and community speculation. Every article distinguishes confirmed information (from official trailers or Rockstar materials) from community theory. You may not contribute or post:

• Leaked materials, datamined content from unreleased builds, or anything covered by an active NDA
• Links to cheats, hacks, trainers or exploits, or to pirated copies of any game
• Content that bypasses Take-Two Interactive's technical protection measures
• Personal information about real Rockstar employees beyond credited public roles

Content of this kind will be removed without notice and the responsible accounts permanently banned.

4. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@wikigtavi.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. User-contributed content

When you contribute an article edit, comment, screenshot annotation, profile description or any other material (“Your Content”) you confirm that:

• You wrote Your Content yourself, or you have all necessary rights and permissions to share it
• Your Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights
• Your Content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening or self-harm material
• You have clearly labelled fan theories, speculation and unconfirmed information as such

You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant wikigtavi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit and distribute Your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Site. This licence ends when you delete the content, except to the extent that we must retain it to comply with our legal obligations or that other users have already cached it.

6. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Site
• Use automated systems to harvest data from the Site without prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our infrastructure or other users' accounts
• Use the Site to distribute spam, phishing pages or links to malware
• Re-post another contributor's research or analysis as your own

7. Moderation

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove, edit, hide, restore or reject any content, suspend or terminate any account, and refuse service to anyone. Where reasonably possible we will explain why a takedown was made.

8. Third-party rights and copyright

We respect the rights of intellectual-property holders. All Grand Theft Auto VI characters, vehicles, locations, artwork and intellectual property are the copyright of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and Rockstar Games. If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, please email hello@wikigtavi.com with the URL, your contact details and a description of the infringing material.

9. Disclaimer

The Site and all content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Information on wikigtavi may include unconfirmed community theory and is not a substitute for official Rockstar Games announcements.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, wikigtavi, its operators and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL with the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by email where reasonably practicable. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and the European Union, as applicable to your residence. The courts of the territory in which you reside shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights.
