Terms of Use

WikiGTAVI is a community-curated fan wiki for Grand Theft Auto VI. We are an independent fan project and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or any of their subsidiaries.

You must be at least 16 years old to register an account or contribute content. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@wikigtavi.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

When you contribute an article edit, comment, screenshot annotation, profile description or any other material (“Your Content”) you confirm that:

• You wrote Your Content yourself, or you have all necessary rights and permissions to share it
• Your Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights
• Your Content is not unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening or self-harm material
• You have clearly labelled fan theories, speculation and unconfirmed information as such

You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant WikiGTAVI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit and distribute Your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Site. This licence ends when you delete the content, except where we must retain it to meet a legal obligation or where other users have already cached it.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Site
• Use automated systems to harvest data from the Site without our prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our infrastructure or other users’ accounts
• Use the Site to distribute spam, phishing pages or links to malware
• Re-post another contributor’s research or analysis as your own

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove, edit, hide, restore or reject any content, and suspend or terminate any account. Where reasonably possible we will explain why a takedown was made.

We respect the rights of intellectual-property holders. All Grand Theft Auto VI characters, vehicles, locations and artwork are the copyright of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. and Rockstar Games. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email hello@wikigtavi.com with the URL, your contact details and a description of the infringing material.

The Site and all content are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Information on WikiGTAVI may include unconfirmed community theory and is not a substitute for official Rockstar Games announcements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WikiGTAVI, its operators and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL with the “Last updated” date shown above. Material changes will be announced on the Site where reasonably practicable, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and the European Union, as applicable to your place of residence. The courts of the territory in which you reside shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights.
