GTA 6 Soundtrack: Every Confirmed and Leaked Song So Far

Music has carried Grand Theft Auto since the top-down days, and Vice City in particular is remembered as much for its radio dial as for its neon. So it is no surprise that the sound of GTA 6 is being reconstructed one car ride at a time. This page tracks every song tied to the game so far and sorts each one by how much you should trust it.

There are three tiers. Official tracks come from Rockstar itself: seven licensed songs across the two trailers, plus fifteen more identified in the 26 minute Extended Look, which is sanctioned footage and counts the same way. Leak-heard tracks played on in-game radios during the August 2026 clips and were identified by fans and press, most exhaustively by Kotaku and RockstarINTEL. The third tier is an alleged tracklist document that circulated on August 20 with names nobody has heard in any footage. On October 8, 2026 Rockstar finally put station names on the record. A Newswire post detailed six in-game stations with official artwork and named hosts: Cocoteo FM (modern Latin), Back Country Radio (renegade country), AfroBank FM (African music, amapiano and 3-step included), The Chamber 106.6 (metal), a returning Flash FM (pop) and Dirty South Classics (regional rap and hip-hop). Four of the six had already appeared in the August 2026 leaked radio menu, which is the strongest sign yet that the leaked station list broadly reflects the real dial, while Flash FM and AfroBank FM were new names entirely.

The same post confirmed the series’ first on-demand podcasts and that radio and podcasts play on foot through headphones and earbuds connected to the smartphone, with previews of all six stations streaming at the Music section of Rockstar’s site. More is promised, including details on the dynamic score and further singles from the album. On September 15 the soundtrack picture changed shape. Nine artists posted official GTA 6 artwork within hours of each other: Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress, CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, and Keith Richards, with Fred again resharing one of the pieces, as reported by VICE, LADbible and GTABoom. None of the posts named a song, a station or a role, so these are artist partnerships rather than tracklist entries, and they sit outside the confirmed song counts on this page until Rockstar attaches music to the names.

The artwork itself carries hints. Travis Scott’s caption spelled out J. O. H., read as the Jack of Hearts strip club, and promised a return to game with rage and a lot of dancing. Future, Metro Boomin and Yung Lean shared one image, a purple Coquette on a Leonida plate reading VCE BBY, which supports the theory that each artwork stands for a radio station and its roster. Morgan Wallen’s piece shows the Starlet Motel pool from the 2022 leaks, and Rauw Alejandro’s flamingo floatie matches an official Trailer 2 screenshot. On September 17 Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, an official soundtrack album made with Atlantic Records and carrying 34 original tracks, out November 19 alongside the game. The first six singles are streaming now: That’s It by Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin, RHYNO by Travis Scott produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk, Sexy Magic by CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy, Last Thing You Need by Morgan Wallen, Macacoa 2000 by Rauw Alejandro, and Bright Lights, Big City by Keith Richards.

The singles resolve the September 15 artwork wave, each artwork now maps to a track, and pre-orders are live with a liquid-filled limited vinyl at $124.98, a splatter vinyl at $49.98 and a CD at $19.98. Note what the album is not: it is a companion release of original music, separate from the licensed radio dial this guide tracks. Distributor Alliance Entertainment, which spoiled the album on a May earnings call, put the split plainly: some of the songs are in the game and some are additional. The in-game side looks staged rather than incidental, with Travis Scott’s RHYNO billed as recorded live at the Jack of Hearts, per GTABoom. Rockstar still teases the dynamic score and the next evolution of in-game radio as reveals to come, so the confirmed and leak-heard lists below stand unchanged, with 28 of the album’s 34 tracks unnamed and performers reminded they may not announce involvement before November 19.

Rockstar has officially used seven licensed tracks across its two trailers. Tom Petty’s Love Is A Long Road anchored Trailer 1 in December 2023, and the Pointer Sisters’ Hot Together carried Trailer 2, with the rest surfacing on Jason’s car radio and in scene transitions. These are the only songs with a guaranteed connection to the game.

One casting note: fans still argue over whether the version of I Love Rock ’n’ Roll in the footage is Joan Jett’s 1982 hit or the 1975 original by The Arrows. Either way, the song itself has an official placement.

The Extended Look on August 27 tripled the official tier in one sitting. Fifteen songs were identified across its 26 minutes, and because this is Rockstar’s own footage, every one of them counts as confirmed. Two of them, Cliff Richard’s Devil Woman and Pound Town by Sexyy Red and Tay Keith, were already in the leak-heard table below and simply graduate a tier. The other thirteen are new to this page:

The Phil Collins placement is the one with history behind it. Against All Odds plays while Jason waits in an elevator, continuing a series tradition: Collins' music has featured in GTA Vice City Stories, GTA 4 and GTA 5, and in Vice City Stories he became the first celebrity to play themselves in a GTA game, in a storyline that culminated in a live performance of In the Air Tonight. Elsewhere in the footage, Se Me Nota scores the Megamundo mission cutscene and Mine O' Mine plays over a late scene, one that viewers singled out for how crisp the mix sounds.

The Extended Look also gave a first read on the original score. The composed music running under the action is described as 80s-influenced, synthy and poppy, and surprisingly upbeat rather than dour or self-serious, a fit for the Vice City setting that the licensed picks already sketch out.

The August 2026 leak wave turned every stolen car into a listening session. Fans ran each clip through recognition apps and forum threads, and by August 24 the count of identified radio plays stood at thirty, and the August 25 NINE1NINE club clip lifted the total to thirty-two with two tracks caught on the venue’s own sound system. Later passes through the same clips kept paying out: five more identifications, Bad Bunny’s 25/8 and Bon Jovi’s Runaway among them, lift the running count to thirty-seven. Where the footage makes the station clear we link it; most tracks surfaced through a scrolling dial or a quick cut, so the majority remain unattributed.

Pound Town earned the most notorious placement, soundtracking the gas station robbery in clip seven, while the Sibelius symphony surfaced during a night flight. Two Lindsey Buckingham cuts in one leak wave suggest a station leaning hard into his catalogue, and the pairing of Moloko with Róisín Murphy’s solo work hints that the dance playlist runs deep.

The club tracks arrived with the August 25 NINE1NINE clip, where “Wanderlust” and “HEAT” play inside the venue, per RockstarIntel and Beebom, and the flying clip exposed the radio interface itself: a station list with a radio on demand element, a mute button and what looks like a volume slider. One entry also quietly dates the build: “Sports Car” by Tate McRae released in January 2025, cited by PC Gamer as counter-evidence to the idea that the leaked footage is ancient.

On August 20 a list billed as a slice of the licensed soundtrack circulated alongside the clip leaks, naming eighteen songs that have not been heard in any footage. It spans Drake, The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, XXXTentacion, M83 and Justice, plus a heavy Miami block of 2 Live Crew, Miami Sound Machine and Gloria Estefan.

One entry has outside support: Panama said on Instagram back in February that Back To Life would feature in the game, per RockstarINTEL. A separate artist claim arrived in April: Bobby Keel, co-writer of David Allan Coe’s 1987 song Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behavior, announced on Facebook that the track will feature in the game, then deleted the post, per GTABoom and Game Rant. Rockstar has confirmed neither. The rest is exactly as trustworthy as an unsourced list can be, though the Miami-heavy selection at least reads like someone who understands the setting.

Read the thirty-seven leak-heard tracks against the fifteen leaked station names and the shape of the radio comes into focus. Classic rock from Blue Öyster Cult, Bad Company, April Wine and David Lee Roth maps naturally onto V-Rock; Waylon Jennings, George Strait and the Glen Campbell cut caught on Back Country Radio stake out the country lane; Myke Towers and the Larry Harlow salsa point to a Latin corridor through Cocoteo FM and La Ola; and two full symphonies imply Symphony FM is a real, playable classical station rather than a joke brand.

The modern picks, from Tate McRae and Coi Leray to Tommy Richman, date the in-game present to the mid-2020s, while Zapp, Moloko and Marianne Rosenberg’s German-language cover of Heart of Glass promise the deep-cut whiplash the series is known for. Rumoured artist-curated stations for DJ Khaled and Drake would slot neatly beside the DJ Khaled and Drake tracks floating through the tiers above.

Licensed music is the most volatile part of any GTA. Deals fall through, playlists get trimmed and expanded, and a track heard in a two-year-old internal build may be a placeholder that never survives contact with a licensing lawyer. GTA V shipped with hundreds of licensed tracks across its dial, so even the seventy-five names tracked on this page would be a fraction of the finished soundtrack.

The first real check has now happened. The Extended Look promoted fifteen songs to tier one, including two that had only been leak-heard before, which is also a useful signal that the leaked radio pulls were broadly genuine. That still leaves thirty-five leak-heard tracks and all eighteen alleged tracklist names waiting on official confirmation, so treat them as provisional until Rockstar publishes its own list.
