Overview
Symphony FM appeared in the nine-station radio menu from the August 2026 gameplay leak, and the clips caught it mid-broadcast: the finale of Jean Sibelius's Symphony No. 5 played while the leaker flew a plane over the map. A dedicated classical station would be a rarity for the series, and pairing it with flight is exactly the kind of staging Rockstar loves.
What we actually know
The name was visible in the leaked menu and the Sibelius movement was heard playing on it. The host, frequency, and wider repertoire are unknown. As with the rest of the leaked dial, the footage likely reflects an older build of the game, nothing about the station is official, and no leaked material is hosted or linked on WikiGTAVI.
Series heritage
Classical music has been scarce on GTA radio since Double Clef FM brought opera to GTA III in 2001. If Symphony FM ships, it would be the first dedicated classical station in a mainline GTA in a quarter of a century, a quiet counterweight to a dial full of club and rap stations.
Trivia
The leaked choice is specific: the Allegro Molto finale of Symphony No. 5, famous for its swinging "swan hymn" horn theme, which Sibelius wrote after watching sixteen swans take flight. Hearing it during a flying sequence is either a coincidence or a very deliberate joke.
