GTA VI: The Album Brings 34 Original Tracks on November 19, and the First Six Singles Are Out Now

+5 XP for Sharing

Rockstar and Atlantic Records will release GTA VI: The Album on November 19, day and date with the game. Its first six singles are streaming now, and Monday’s coordinated artwork campaign turns out to have been the roster reveal.

Quick take
  • GTA VI: The Album arrives November 19 with 34 original tracks made in partnership with Atlantic Records, per the Rockstar Newswire announcement.
  • The first six singles are streaming now, including Travis Scott’s RHYNO, produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk.
  • Yung Lean, Future and Metro Boomin share one track, That’s It, which explains why all three posted the same purple Coquette artwork on September 15.
  • Pre-orders are live on the official album store: a liquid-filled limited-edition vinyl at $124.98, a splatter vinyl at $49.98 and a CD at $19.98, all shipping November 20.
  • Rockstar says more music news is coming, naming the dynamic score and the next evolution of in-game radio.

A Companion Album Landing Day and Date With the Game

Two days after nine artists flooded Instagram with official GTA 6 artwork, Rockstar explained why. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is an official soundtrack album created in partnership with Atlantic Records, carrying 34 original tracks that, in Rockstar’s words, capture the electric energy of Vice City and Leonida. It launches November 19, day and date with the game itself, and the announcement went out on the Rockstar Newswire on September 17.

The album is available to pre-save on all major streaming services, with vinyl and CD sets up for pre-order on the official album store. The copyright line names Atlantic Recording Corporation and Take-Two Interactive jointly, and the store itself runs under Warner-Elektra-Atlantic, so this is a proper label release rather than a game-store bundle.

The Six Singles, Out Today

Rockstar did not stop at an announcement. Six singles went live on streaming services the same day:

  • Yung Lean, That’s It (feat. Future and Metro Boomin)
  • Travis Scott, RHYNO (produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)
  • CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy, Sexy Magic
  • Morgan Wallen, Last Thing You Need
  • Rauw Alejandro, Macacoa 2000
  • Keith Richards, Bright Lights, Big City

The credits carry some surprises. RHYNO is produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, one half of Daft Punk, a rare production credit since the duo split in 2021. Sexy Magic adds French producer Etienne de Crécy to the yacht crew from Monday’s artwork, a name that never appeared in the campaign. And Keith Richards’ contribution shares its title with the Jimmy Reed blues standard Bright Lights, Big City, a fitting lane for the Rolling Stones guitarist.

Monday’s Artwork Was the Tracklist Hiding in Plain Sight

The singles resolve the September 15 artwork campaign almost line by line. Future, Metro Boomin and Yung Lean posting the same purple Coquette was not a coincidence, they share one track. The yacht that connected CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress and Fred again.. turned into Sexy Magic. Rauw Alejandro’s flamingo caption literally named his single, Macacoa 2000, two days before Rockstar confirmed it, and Keith Richards’ iguana and Morgan Wallen’s drained motel pool now each have a song attached.

What the announcement does not resolve is Travis Scott’s side of the campaign. His caption promised phase one and spelled out J. O. H., which fans read as the Jack of Hearts strip club, and nothing in the album reveal picks that thread up. With six of 34 tracks named, there are 28 slots left, and the wider circle tagged in the campaign’s orbit, from Don Toliver to Kodak Black, has yet to appear on a single. Our soundtrack guide tracks the full picture, confirmed songs and leak-heard claims alike.

Three Editions and a Liquid-Filled Vinyl

Physical pre-orders opened on the official album store with three exclusives: a limited-edition vinyl at $124.98, a standard splatter vinyl at $49.98 and a CD in a jewel case with booklet at $19.98. All three ship November 20, one day after the digital release. The limited edition is the showpiece, two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid, packaged with exclusive artwork.

Beyond the official store, Rockstar lists exclusive vinyl colourways with unique art at Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and independent retailers, which suggests a serious retail push of the kind usually reserved for major label releases.

Dynamic Score and the Next Evolution of Radio

The announcement closes with a line worth reading twice: Rockstar promises more details about the music of GTA 6, including the dynamic score, the next evolution of in-game radio, and more. That phrasing separates The Album from the radio dial. The 34 original tracks are a companion release, while the licensed stations, with 22 songs already confirmed through the trailers and the Extended Look, remain their own reveal still to come.

There is precedent for the album, GTA V shipped The Music of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online later built an update around Dr Dre, but nothing at this scale or this far ahead of launch. Day and date with the game, backed by Atlantic, with singles rolling out two months early, this is Rockstar treating the soundtrack as a release of its own.
