La Ola surfaced in the 10th leaked gameplay clip of August 2026 as one of six stations new to the known dial. The name is Spanish for the wave, which fans read two ways at once: a Latin music channel, and a nod to the beach culture the leaked night flight was literally soaring over.

With Cocoteo FM apparently covering reggaeton, La Ola could carve out a different Latin lane: tropical, salsa, Latin pop, or something looser. Nothing heard in the clip has been tied to it, so the format is wide open.

Only the name is known, and even that with a wrinkle: RockstarIntel prints La Ola while Dexerto reads the same icon as The Ola. WikiGTAVI uses La Ola, the more common reading, until clearer evidence lands. No song, host, or genre has been attributed. The build behind the clip is believed to be old, so specifics may change, and leaked footage stays off WikiGTAVI entirely, neither hosted nor linked.

If the Latin reading holds, La Ola would sit in the lineage of Radio Espantoso from Vice City and East Los FM from GTA V, the stations that gave each era its Spanish-language heartbeat.
