LOVE Magazine announced on 2 October that Issue 27 carries a GTA 6 cover feature, trailed with new screenshots of Jason and Lucia and fresh Rob Nelson quotes. The full piece arrives when the issue goes on sale on 5 October.
- LOVE Magazine announced its GTA 6 cover feature on Instagram on 2 October, with the full Issue 27 on sale from 5 October 2026.
- The preview includes new screenshots: Jason and Lucia in a diner, new outfits for the pair, a Vice City shot and a black-and-white style frame.
- Rob Nelson says Rockstar hopes players “will want to escape into these worlds and characters, to get lost with them and in them”.
- The announcement frames the feature around a decade of world-building and the line that in a world this dense, no one you meet is an extra.
- It is the second major print feature of the cycle after Game Informer’s Issue 382 cover story in late September.
America’s Most Wanted, on a Fashion Magazine Cover
Rockstar’s press tour has found its second print home. LOVE Magazine announced on 2 October that Jason and Lucia front one of the covers of Issue 27, built around a new piece of official artwork and the cover line treatment of the pair as America’s most wanted. The magazine’s Instagram announcement promises the team behind “the most anticipated entertainment launch in history” taken inside a decade of obsessive world-building, an unpacking of what the American Dream looks like now, and an explanation of why, in a world this dense, no one you meet is an extra.
The physical issue goes on sale on 5 October 2026, which is when the full interview text lands. Until then, everything public comes from the announcement posts themselves.
What the Preview Already Shows
The announcement did not arrive empty-handed. The preview posts carry new screenshots: Jason and Lucia inside a diner, a pair of shots showing new outfits for both leads, a fresh look at Vice City and a stylised black-and-white frame. The diner setting will raise eyebrows for anyone tracking the pair’s working life, since roadside stops and small-business robberies have anchored the duo’s imagery since the first trailer.

As with the Game Informer set, the screenshots are official Rockstar captures handed to the magazine rather than new gameplay, so they confirm tone and costume rather than mechanics.

Nelson on Getting Lost in the World
The trailed quotes come from Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North and the campaign’s most visible voice since the Famitsu and IGN rounds. “We hope people will want to escape into these worlds and characters, to get lost with them and in them,” he says in the excerpt, a line that matches the density argument he has been making all cycle: the world only works as an escape if every person in it appears to have a life worth interrupting.
The feature’s interest in the American Dream angle also tracks with how Rockstar has positioned the story, a Bonnie and Clyde partnership squeezed from both ends of the economy in a state built on selling paradise.
The Print Tour Is Now a Pattern
One print cover is a favour. Two in a week is a strategy. Game Informer’s Issue 382 cover story carried the systems and world detail in late September, and LOVE’s Issue 27 now takes the culture and character angle for an audience that does not read gaming outlets. Expect the remaining weeks before 19 November to keep alternating between these two registers.
