Two weeks before release, Rockstar put 39 native 4K screenshots on a new Launch Gallery page with no captions: a bank robbery, a chase, three nightclubs, a swamp camp, a reef and the quietest sunset in the campaign. All 39 are now in our screenshots gallery.
- 39 images at 3840 by 2160, filed by Rockstar as 15 Vice City, 9 Jason, 7 Jason and Lucia, 4 Lucia, 2 Grassrivers, 1 Leonida Keys and 1 Port Gellhorn.
- The armed set tells one story: a masked bank job, a convertible shootout with bikes and an armoured truck, helicopters overhead, and Lucia caught under patrol lights.
- Nightlife frames include a jungle-canopy club, a dressing room, a bottle-service booth, the Delights Cabaret in Port Gellhorn and the Rusty Anchor bar.
- Full set added to our screenshots gallery, now 673 official stills. Rockstar’s page has the 4K originals but no zip download.
Thirty-Nine Stills, Two Weeks Out
Rockstar marked the two-weeks-to-go point on November 5 with the shortest Newswire post of the campaign and the largest single image drop since the official site relaunched in May 2025. The post says only that the game is “officially only two weeks away”, points at a new Launch Gallery page on the official site, and signs off with “See you in Leonida on November 19”. No captions, no section notes, no trailer. The pictures do all the talking.
We count 39 images, every one a native 3840 by 2160 still. Outlets that wrote it up within the hour counted 36, 37 and 38, which tells you more about how awkward the gallery page is to scroll than about the drop itself. Rockstar’s own file names settle the grouping: 15 are filed under Vice City, 9 under Jason Duval, 7 under Jason and Lucia, 4 under Lucia Caminos, 2 under Grassrivers, and one each for Leonida Keys and Port Gellhorn. The numbering picks up exactly where the site’s existing People and Places galleries left off, Vice City 13 through 27 and Jason 11 through 19, so this is a continuation of that library rather than a side set, and the official download hub was listing 99 screenshots before today.
The Job Shots
Nearly every solo frame of Jason or Lucia has a weapon in it, and together they sketch a whole afternoon going wrong. The centrepiece is a bank interior in bank green, both leads masked with bandanas, Jason carrying a compact SMG and a duffel bag, Lucia covering the counter with a machine pistol while staff and customers duck. A second frame has Lucia leaning out of a convertible firing a pistol back at a pack of pursuing bikes with an armoured truck and police behind them, and a third has Jason bracing a carbine on a car roof with two helicopters overhead. The pair of Jason stills at a petrol station, fuel can in hand next to a car with a shattered windscreen, read like the aftermath of the same chase.

The rest of the armed set is quieter. Lucia in a rain-soaked car at night with a pistol raised and neon on the glass. Lucia on open ground, arm fully extended, against a grey sky. Lucia with a pistol low at her side and a patrol car’s lights behind her, clearly caught. Jason behind a steel shutter in a shower of sparks with a dog barking at his heels, Jason crouched beside a sports bike under blue and red lights, Jason in a biker clubhouse facing a tattooed arm holding a pistol. Our wanted system guide covers how those lights go from pretty to expensive.
Vice City After Dark
The second theme is nightlife, and the crowds are the point. There is a nightclub lit green with a jungle canopy hung over the dance floor and a DJ on a riser, a dance-floor close-up of Jason and Lucia in purple light, a club booth with bottle service and a hand counting cash, a dressing room full of dancers under bulb mirrors, and a performer on stage under a rain of bills. Port Gellhorn’s single frame is a pole dancer under a neon sign reading Delights Cabaret. None of this is new territory for GTA, but the headcount in each room is: the dance floor shot has dozens of people in it and no two look alike, which fits what we have on crowd density and NPC variety.

Two frames belong in this set without being clubs at all. The Rusty Anchor is an open-air bar strung with lights, an older couple dancing in the middle of it and a beer bottle left on the table in the foreground. And the gas station under a red neon canopy is hosting a street meet, a car with green underglow at the pumps and a crowd lit by the forecourt sign with a tyre shop across the road.

The Quiet Ones
Then there are the frames with nobody shooting anyone. The best of them is Jason and Lucia sitting on the roof of a truck under a lone oak at sunset, deer in the long grass, the Vice City skyline a smudge on the horizon miles away. It is the only wide landscape in the set and it says more about how big Leonida is than any map-size number. Vice City gets a midday marina with a jet taking off behind the towers, a waterfront villa with a yacht at the dock and police on the bridge above, a straight-down aerial of a hotel pool with a heron on the roof, and a dusk skyline with a drawbridge raised over the river.

Outside the city, the two Grassrivers frames are a swamp camp where a shirtless man has a python round his neck and a knife in his hand, with an alligator lying beside the cooler like a pet, and a night airboat with two hunters sweeping torches across the water while a gator’s eyes glow red under a crescent moon. The single Leonida Keys frame is underwater: a diver on a reef, a boat hull overhead, and a lionfish in the foreground, an invasive species in real Florida waters and a very specific thing for an art team to choose. Back in town, a barbershop frame with four customers mid-cut, a gym frame of Jason under a barbell, a pit bull in a spiked gold collar beside a man in gold chains, and a convertible frame with Jason in a backwards cap at the wheel and Lucia in the passenger seat round out the set.
See All 39 in One Place
We have added the full set to our screenshots gallery, where it sits at the top as the Launch Gallery group, 39 tiles at 1920 wide with the lightbox for each. If you want the untouched 3840 by 2160 originals, Rockstar’s Launch Gallery page has them, though there is no single zip download as there was for the Vintage Vice City set, so it is one right-click at a time. Our gallery now holds 673 official stills across the trailers, the Extended Look, the press sets and the official site drops.
