Yago belongs to the night-racing crowd of Vice City, and the Extended Look gives him one loud moment: screaming at rival drivers from the passenger side while Jason Duval handles his 1990 Annis Elegy. The car is his, the wheel is not, which already tells you something about the arrangement between the two.

According to the backstory circulating since the leak wave, Yago is a former cocaine addict who came out of rehab and swapped one obsession for another, pouring himself into cars and street racing. By day he works as a short-order cook at a restaurant in Little Cuba. None of that biography has appeared in official Rockstar material yet.

The sequence that introduces him is the night race Rockstar cut into An Extended Look. Before the start line, Jason takes the Elegy to Euroform Automotive, a customisation shop in Little Cuba, where it picks up a full pro build. The race itself runs from Salton to Waning Sands under the name Hit n Run VC, with Yago riding along and providing most of the volume.

Footage from the October 2026 leak shows the complete mission around that race, including the Euroform customisation menus and the full Salton to Waning Sands run won by Jason. The dialogue reportedly reveals that Yago had two brothers in the Guardia Brothers gang, both now deceased, which would explain why he keeps his distance from gang life while staying close to its fastest cars. As with everything leak-sourced, expect details to shift once the game ships on 19 November 2026.
