Boobie Ike

Boobie Ike is one of Vice City’s established players. Rockstar’s character copy describes him as one of the few to turn his time on the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, strip clubs and recording studios. He owns Jack of Hearts, a long-running adult entertainment club that the Extended Look refers to as one of his clubs, and has expanded into the music business with manager Dre’Quan Priest. The official Rockstar still places him outside Jack of Hearts in a cream knit shirt with a thick gold chain and pendant.

Trailer 2 positions Boobie inside the wider Vice City social map: club owner, money mover, fixer. His partnership with Dre’Quan ties him to the rap duo Real Dimez and the Only Raw Records label.

The Extended Look confirms him as a mission giver, and by most readings one of the main ones in the early to mid game. The showcase opens with Jason and Lucia on a pickup for Boobie at a tower block: the men out front send them inside to ask for a dealer named Raymond, the residents make it plain they are no fans of Boobie, and the package turns out to be a red bag of cocaine that Jason later refers to as Boobie’s bricks. Raymond’s contact Ernesto tips off a police task force and the pickup collapses into the first shootout of the video. Boobie himself never appears on screen in the 26 minutes; he is only spoken about. Later in the showcase the couple visit the Jack of Hearts and meet Dre’Quan there, and one map analysis suggests the club is marked with the icon used for mission-giving locations, though that reading is unconfirmed.
