Overview
Where street races own the city, off-road races own everything beyond it. Leonida’s wetlands and dirt trails are a natural arena for trucks and quad bikes, and a dedicated off-road circuit would give the map’s rougher half a competitive reason to exist.
How it works
Off-road racing trades top speed for traction and recovery: picking lines through mud, riding bumps without spinning out and using the right vehicle for the surface. Checkpoint trails through the swamp would reward handling and nerve over raw horsepower.
In the series
GTA has long offered off-road events alongside street races, from San Andreas dirt tracks to GTA Online’s rally formats. With Leonida’s terrain front and centre, off-road races are an easy fit and connect directly to the off-road vehicles in the database.
Trivia
Off-road and street races are the two racing pillars; together they let almost any vehicle in the game find an event where it belongs.
