Overview

Eurogamer and GamesRadar both list jet skiing from the Extended Look, and the leaked beach clip that Polygon covered shows personal watercraft woven into the crowded Vice Beach scene, apparently including rental stands on the sand. Grab-and-go jet skis would be a small but telling change from GTA 5, where a Seashark had to be found or owned.

Canals as roads

The interesting part is not the open ocean, it is the city. Vice City’s canal grid means a jet ski can cut lines no car can follow, which makes the fastest route across town at rush hour plausibly a wet one. Expect the Seashark formula refined: nimble, wave-happy and ideal for shaking a tail.
