Vice Beach in GTA 6

Vice Beach

Vice Beach is the central coastline strip of Vice City, a parade of art deco hotels and palm-studded boardwalks drawn from Miami Beach. Tourists, hustlers, and beach volleyball fill the sand, and Rockstar hangs ambient events and small story moments along it. A leaked August 2026 clip showed the strip running well over a hundred NPCs at once, with deformable sand, jet ski rentals and lifeguard patrols. Confirmed through Newswire copy and trailer footage.

Overview

Vice Beach is the central coastline strip of Vice City, lined with art deco hotels and palm-studded boardwalks. Expect tourists, hustlers, beach volleyball, and the most photographed sunsets in Leonida.

Vice Beach sits inside Vice-Dale County on the Leonida map.

Real-World Inspiration

Vice Beach is most often compared to Miami Beach. The real Miami Beach is a separate barrier-island city across the bay from Miami, packed with oceanfront resort hotels, nightlife, and one of the world's largest collections of Art Deco architecture.

Appearances

Vice Beach is confirmed by Rockstar Games in Newswire location copy, trailer footage and published screenshots. It then headlined its own leak: the thirteenth Cyberleek clip of August 25, 2026, titled Beach, follows Jason on a bicycle down the sand in early morning light, past a Vapid Lifeguard pickup, lifeguard towers and ATVs, with a yacht offshore and a floating NINE1NINE advert bobbing in the water. Community sleuths matched the visible skyline to known trailer vantage points, placing the clip between two Trailer 1 shots.

The Leaked Crowd Tech

The clip’s real story is density. Estimates put well over a hundred NPCs on screen, with creators joking it is GTA 5’s beach population multiplied by ten. And they behave like people: friend groups walking and talking, couples on towels, groups of girls chatting, sunbathers applying sunscreen, swimmers, selfie takers and floatie users, with lit phone screens readable enough in shadow to see what each NPC is doing. Skyscrapers on the landward side cast believable shadows across sections of sand.

Systems fans pulled the clip apart: sand visibly deforms under feet and tyres in the way snow did in Red Dead Redemption 2, a jet ski rental area holds six or seven skis in the water with a truck and trailer for launching, brand-coloured umbrellas and cabanas cluster by resort, and Jason clips a seagull mid-flight while riding. Observers also noted no children among the crowd, and a shopfront read as Tammaro, though the spelling is unverified. The full mechanics readout lives in the leaked gameplay mechanics guide.

Trivia

As a neighborhood in the GTA VI map, Vice Beach is part of Rockstar's wider effort to make Leonida feel like a real place rather than a static set of mission triggers. Expect dynamic events, ambient pedestrians, and small story moments tied to the surroundings.
