Overview
The official evidence is Trailer 2’s club sequence, all strobing bodies with the protagonists in the middle. The August 2026 leak then did the confirming detail work: the clip touring NINE1NINE included a solo dance mode, which implies rhythm-style inputs along the lines of GTA Online’s nightclub dancing, probably with a crowd that notices whether you can keep time.
Dancing together also slots into the couple-activity layer that runs through the whole game, from gym sessions to safehouse downtime.
San Andreas did it first
The series’ one true rhythm mini-game shipped in 2004, at San Andreas’ clubs, and fans have asked after it ever since. Twenty-two years later, in the series’ most nightlife-obsessed city, it finally gets its sequel.
