Keys Crossing

A community theory: a coordinated land-and-sea job across the Leonida Keys, with one team on the bridge and another in the water. Built from trailer scenery, not a confirmed mission.

Overview

Keys Crossing is the community name for an imagined dual-team operation across the Keys, combining boats below with vehicles on the bridge. It is inspired by the confirmed Keys setting and Jason’s smuggling background, but no such mission has been shown.

The theory

Jason is confirmed to work drug runs in the Leonida Keys for veteran smuggler Brian Heder, which is why fans place a water-based job there and pin Brian as the likely giver. That is a logical fit with the confirmed bios, but still a guess.

Why people believe it

The dual-protagonist system invites split-team set pieces, and the Keys give an obvious land-plus-sea playground. The theory extrapolates from those facts; it does not rest on a shown mission.

Trivia

Whether Keys Crossing would be a heist or a chase is the wiki’s longest-running friendly mission-board argument, and nobody minds that the answer is currently unknowable.
