Overview
Crosstown is the downtown of Vice City, with the skyscrapers, financial district, and high-rise condos visible behind the beach in Trailer 1 footage.
Crosstown sits inside Vice-Dale County on the Leonida map.
Crosstown is home to one of Jason and Lucia’s story safehouses. The mapping community places the apartment shown in the Extended Look in Crosstown near the Jack of Hearts, on the second floor of a building that had already appeared in the leaks and is now seen clearly from the outside, with a tiki figure by the entrance and a Leonida City Tours bus passing on the street. The interior is read by most creators as Lucia’s apartment, with pink wallpaper and photographs of the couple on the fridge, and the drive that follows starts from the back of the building and heads to the Venetian Causeway. One creator who attended the preview described the same apartment loosely as being in the Bayside area and expects it to be a chapter one or two safehouse. The Jack of Hearts itself, Boobie Ike’s strip club, is placed by the same mapping work in Stockyard, and a scooter scene with Jason and Lucia is set on the border of Stockyard and Crosstown. The mission departure to the airport also passes the edge of the district before crossing the bridge towards the Megamundo tower.
Real-World Inspiration
Crosstown is most often compared to Downtown Miami and Brickell. The real downtown and Brickell form Miami's financial core, a canyon of banking towers and luxury high-rises along the Miami River and the bayfront.
Appearances
Crosstown is confirmed by Rockstar Games in official Newswire location copy, trailer footage, and published screenshots. The Extended Look adds the exterior and interior of the couple’s second floor apartment near the Jack of Hearts, as placed by the mapping community, plus a scooter ride on the Stockyard border. As more material is released we will catalogue specific frame references and timestamps here.
Trivia
As a neighborhood in the GTA VI map, Crosstown is part of Rockstar's wider effort to make Leonida feel like a real place rather than a static set of mission triggers. Expect dynamic events, ambient pedestrians, and small story moments tied to the surroundings.
