Capri

Capri is a Gulf coast city south of Port Gellhorn, first named officially on a highway sign in the Extended Look and drawn in detail on version 16 of the community map as a composite of three real Florida cities.

Capri sits inside Mariana County on the Leonida map, south of Port Gellhorn along Interstate 404. The community map draws it with a central roundabout, a stadium, a large lake, docks and a tram line, at roughly one square kilometre, which contributors compare to Bohan in GTA 4 and call larger than South Los Santos. The rail line links the city south to a station at Vice City International Airport and north through Port Gellhorn towards Red Hill.

Mapping contributors identify three law enforcement bodies around the city: the Mariana County Sheriff’s Office with liveries based on the real Charlotte County Sheriff, a Capri City Police Department based on Sebring’s, and the Leonida Highway Patrol. The Cyber Leak hypercar clip from the August wave starts just south-east of the city, passing a gas station, farm fields and the stadium of the Capri Chuckles football team.

Capri is read as a three-city composite. The waterfront comes from Naples on the Gulf coast, with a pier, a drawbridge, a barrier beach, welcome signs modelled on the Naples originals and a fifteen floor condominium matched to the real Horizon House. The central roundabout, fire station and gas station come from Sebring, and the lakeside centre is Lakeland: Lake Mirror, the Terrace Hotel, a mirrored Lake Mirror Tower, the Peggy Brown and Magnolia buildings and a blocky train station all have direct counterparts.

The real Naples Pier was partially destroyed by Hurricane Ian in September 2022 but stands intact in-game, which suggests Rockstar scouted the area years earlier. The Lake Mirror Tower and the Terrace Hotel were visible as far back as Trailer 1’s green pickup scene.

The name Capri is official: a road sign in northern Port Gellhorn points south to Capri and Vice Dale County in the Extended Look, the first mention in any Rockstar material. Everything beyond the name comes from the leaked August 2026 map, the leak clips and the community map project’s version 16 redraw, none of which Rockstar has acknowledged, so the city’s layout stays provisional until it is shown properly.

The Capri Chuckles football team plays out of a stadium matched to the real track and field stadium in Sebring, whose race track also lends its layout to the Port Gellhorn International Raceway on the leaked map.
