Overview
The Extended Look provided some very not-extended looks at Leonida’s side activities, and backyard wrestling was the one that got clipped instantly. In the montage that follows the “Back in Bayside” line, Jason is in a makeshift ring of mattresses in somebody’s garden, getting absolutely body slammed. The move is unmistakable: John Cena’s Attitude Adjustment, performed on Jason rather than by him.
That is the whole confirmed picture. A few seconds of footage, one finisher, no HUD explanation.
What it might feed
Creators assume wrestling raises strength, stamina or health the way the gym does, and one recap floats it as possible training or even part of a mission. Both readings are guesses. GTA 6 building character stats through activities is real, the leaked basketball clip showed a Focus gain per made shot, so a strength payoff here would fit the pattern, but nothing on screen confirms it.
In the series
Fighting for fun has series form. San Andreas let CJ learn gym fighting styles, and GTA IV had underground fight clubs in its DLC. A wrestling ring made of mattresses between suburban houses is a very Leonida spin on the tradition, and a very real Florida one too.
Trivia
Cena’s finisher was called the FU before WWE renamed it the Attitude Adjustment, a piece of trivia older wrestling fans dug up within hours of the showcase. With Cena’s film career and WWE farewell tour behind him, the reference landing in a Rockstar game feels almost inevitable.
