Overview
Flash FM is back. Rockstar confirmed the station on October 8, 2026 as GTA VI's home of pop, hosted by Robyn and Alex and billed as a Vice City institution, guaranteed to make you dance no matter where you find yourself in the Goodtime State. The official logo keeps the classic branding, with a lightning bolt standing in for the S.
Of the six stations Rockstar announced together, Flash FM is the only returning brand, and its comeback lands as a deliberate bridge between the 1986 Vice City of the originals and the modern Leonida of GTA VI.
Series heritage
Flash FM was one of the original Vice City stations, blasting mid-80s pop across the 1986 city with DJ Toni behind the mic, and it returned in Vice City Stories two years earlier on the in-game calendar. Four decades of in-game time later, the station is still on the air, which quietly says something about how Rockstar sees the city's continuity.
What we actually know
The station, its pop format and its hosts Robyn and Alex are official as of the October 8, 2026 Newswire announcement, with a preview stream live at the Music section of Rockstar's site. No frequency has been confirmed and no playlist has been detailed beyond the preview.
Trivia
The host name Robyn invites the obvious reading that the Swedish pop auteur is behind the mic, and Rockstar has form for real artists hosting stations, from Kenny Loggins on Los Santos Rock Radio to Frank Ocean on blonded Los Santos. Nothing official names the talent yet, so file the reading as plausible rather than confirmed.
