Physique, grooming and personality that actually shape play
- The deepest appearance controls in series history
- Hair and beards grow over time, just like RDR2
- Real brands sit alongside fully custom designs
- Personality traits influence missions and NPC reactions
Full Appearance Control
Rockstar is pushing personalization well past anything in earlier games. The appearance tools cover the obvious sliders and then keep going:
- Facial features: fine-tune shape, skin tone and detail with real precision
- Dynamic physique: hit the gym to build muscle or live on fast food to gain weight, with your body adapting over time
- Hair and beard growth: borrowed from RDR2, hair grows naturally, so a fresh fade or long locks means growing them out first
- Grooming realism: trimming and shaving only work once there is something to cut
Next-Level Clothing and Fashion
Customization runs past the face and into the wardrobe. Expect everything from streetwear to tailored suits, licensed designer labels so you can dress your character in actual fashion, and custom designs where you build your own graphics, colors and patterns. It is closer to a styling system than a menu of presets.

Personality That Affects Gameplay
The most interesting part is not cosmetic at all. Personality traits can shape how missions play out, how NPCs react to you and even attraction within the world. Paired with how Rockstar is rebuilding its NPC systems, the goal is a character you are emotionally invested in, not just one you dressed. That investment is a big part of why the game already feels different from its peers.
