Leonard County

Leonard County remains one of the least documented regions in the Leonida map. Rockstar has not released a dedicated screenshot postcard for it, but road signs visible in Trailer 2 and leaked footage put Leonard County immediately north of Vice-Dale. Mapping community work places it between the urban core and the more rural counties further inland. The community generally expects it to feature a mix of strip malls, sprawl, retirement complexes, and gated suburban developments echoing Aventura and Pembroke Pines.

Leonard County is drawn from Broward County, Florida. Rockstar has historically built its game worlds as semi-faithful caricatures of real places, picking out the strongest visual and cultural cues and reshaping them into a satirical version of America. Expect recognisable streets, signage references, and visual gags throughout.
