Overview

Angstipan has been hiding in plain sight since the first trailer, where IGN spotted its billboard, and the Extended Look finally gave it a full TV commercial billing it as America’s favourite dissociative. The GTA Wiki quotes the small print: patients 18 to 65 should use with extreme caution, since a sudden urge to blink could be life threatening.

The maker is Phix, whose logo sits in the corner of the advert. What it parodies depends on who you ask: the wiki hears the real drug Angispan inside the name, while GamingBible reads the slogan as a Prozac jab. Either way it anchors a medicine shelf that also stocks Rolladol and Sooth.

Sources split: the GTA Wiki hears angst plus Angispan, GamingBible reads a Prozac jab, and IGN files it under American pharma advertising at large.
