One slot, eleven charges
The August 2026 clips gave the taser its name. A pickup prompt reads Take Shocker, drop Klose K17 Pistol, so the stun gun competes with a sidearm for the same slot rather than living in a separate gadget pocket. The ammo readout calls its charges Coil Shocker Charge and showed eleven in reserve with one loaded, with no visible reload pause between shots.
The same footage showed tased NPCs convulsing on the ground with far more convincing physics than GTA 5 managed, and Jason himself fighting on through a jolt instead of dropping instantly.
Coil, the electric brand
Coil is the series’ long-running electric marque, the badge on GTA 5’s battery-powered cars, so handing it the stun gun is a very Rockstar piece of brand logic. Fans match the design to Axon’s TASER line. The device is also tracked on the Taser equipment page, which catalogues its item-wheel sightings; this entry records it as a carried weapon.
