Girardi ES9

The Girardi ES9 is a handgun in Grand Theft Auto VI and Jason Duval’s personal sidearm. It is one of the first weapons Rockstar has named officially: the Grand Theft Auto VI Ultimate Edition includes Personalized Weapon Variants, described as engraved personalized sidearms for Jason’s Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia’s Klose K17 pistol.

The Ultimate Edition variant is an engraved version of the pistol, which implies the base ES9 is part of the standard arsenal rather than an edition exclusive. Girardi appears to be a new fictional gunmaker name for the series.

The image on this page is placeholder concept art in the wiki’s house style. It will be replaced with official imagery once Rockstar shows the weapon.

Named in the Ultimate Edition contents announced in June 2026 alongside pre-orders. The weapon itself has not yet been shown clearly in trailers or official screenshots.

The ES9 designation is widely read as a 9mm service pistol, and the Beretta 92FS basis fits Jason’s backstory: the Beretta M9, its military version, was the US Army’s standard sidearm for over 30 years.
