Dirty South Classics

Dirty South Classics is one of the nine stations named in the radio menu from the August 2026 gameplay leak. The name points squarely at classic southern hip-hop, a natural fit for a Florida-inspired map, though Rockstar has not confirmed the station or anything about its lineup.

Overview

Dirty South Classics appeared in the nine-station radio menu visible in the August 2026 gameplay leak. "Dirty South" is the umbrella term for the southern rap movement that rose out of Atlanta, Houston, Memphis, and New Orleans, and a classics-focused station would give GTA VI a dedicated home for that canon.

For a state modelled on Florida, the name also gestures at Miami bass, the booming, uptempo style the region gave hip-hop, which would make this station a regional statement as much as a genre one.

What we actually know

Only the name is known, and even that with a wrinkle: at least one outlet transcribed it as "Dirty South Classic" in the singular. No songs were tied to the station in the leaked clips, no host was named, and the footage is believed to come from an older development build. Rockstar has not confirmed it, and WikiGTAVI does not link or host leaked footage.

Trivia

Fans have started pencilling leaked songs into this station, with Get It Poppin by Fat Joe featuring Nelly among the leaked tracks most often nominated. No song-to-station pairing for it was actually shown, so all of that is speculation.
