Overview
Shore Court Garage is a confirmed GTA 6 property listed as a pre-order bonus. Sitting on Shore Drive in Ocean Beach, it is a vehicle garage handed to players who reserve the game ahead of launch, a head-start perk rather than something earned in the story.
Garages are the one property type Rockstar has confirmed players can buy. Speaking to creators at the Extended Look preview, Rob Nelson said a storage garage costs a few thousand dollars, that different garages can be bought as the game progresses, and that a player can own as many personal vehicles as they have storage spaces in the garages they buy. Safehouses, by contrast, cannot be purchased at all because Jason and Lucia are on the run. Shore Court Garage is one of those buyable storage garages handed over for free, saving pre-order players the early outlay.
Story
Garages in the GTA series are where players stash, shelter and show off their collection, keeping prized rides safe from the chaos of the streets. As a coastal Ocean Beach address, Shore Court puts that storage right in the heart of Vice City’s beach district from the outset.
Features
Expect the standard garage role of a secure place to park, swap and protect vehicles, with one important GTA 6 twist. Rob Nelson described the loop directly: buy a storage garage for a few thousand dollars, steal a 50,000 dollar car and stash it there, and it stays safe even though it is not yet yours, until you have the means to register it. Stolen cars can be kept in a garage without being registered, but making one an official personal vehicle costs a registration fee, and high-end vehicles cannot be registered at all early in the game. The phone’s WAINK app scans any parked car to show its value, its registration cost and what security it carries.
Rob also framed these low-key garages as the place to stash cars you own or cars whose trackers you plan to remove later, either to sell or to keep. Trackers themselves are removed at a body shop or through a vehicle fence, and fences and pay-and-sprays are not all available from the start. As a pre-order bonus, Shore Court is an early-game convenience in every sense, giving reservers storage before they have earned the cash to buy any.
Trivia
Shore Court Garage pairs with Paradise Garage as one of two edition-bonus properties revealed so far, both garages rather than safehouses, which keeps them squarely about vehicle storage instead of story progress. The Extended Look previews explain why: garages are the only property type that can be bought in GTA 6, so they are the natural candidate for a bonus, while safehouses are tied to the narrative.
