Overview
The Stanier ’55 is a Coupes car in Grand Theft Auto VI, manufactured in-game by Vapid and based on the 1955 Oldsmobile 88. It is a rear-wheel-drive 1950s American coupe with a 5-speed gearbox and a mass of around 1,900 KG.
A returning classic from the series, the Stanier ’55 carries the slab-sided chrome styling of mid-century Americana and is offered as a pre-order bonus vehicle in GTA VI.
Appearances
The Stanier ’55 is confirmed for GTA VI after appearing in the first official trailer. The model also features in GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories.
Trivia
Just like in GTA Vice City, the Stanier ’55 can always be found parked in front of the Ocean View Hotel on Ocean Drive, in a yellow-and-white paint job. This is a nod to the yellow-and-white Oldsmobile Super 88 parked outside the Avalon Hotel on the real-life Ocean Drive in Miami.
