The 192GB Rockstar Dump Is Public: A Liberty City DLC Bigger Than GTA 4, Agent Trevor and a 2015 Leonida

+5 XP for Sharing

Four years after the teapot videos, 192GB from the same 2022 Rockstar breach has gone fully public. Inside: a Liberty City expansion outline larger than GTA 4’s map, Agent Trevor DLC assets, an alternate Trevor ending and a 2015 blockout of Leonida.

Quick take
  • Insider Gaming reports the files came from the 2022 breach and were passed privately for years before spreading broadly in mid September.
  • TJGM imported dlc_liberty audio zone files into the CodeWalker map editor and traced a Liberty City outline larger than GTA 4’s whole map.
  • Agent Trevor files shared by dataminer affmal include a full mission list, a spaceship site, space suits and a huge underground space beneath a mansion.
  • An alternate draft of GTA 5’s Option A ending has Trevor dying in a liquid nitrogen tanker crash, per the dialogue files.
  • The 2015 Leonida test map now runs inside GTA 5. WikiGTAVI does not link or host any leaked files.

What Actually Went Public

Start with the provenance, because it is the only part of this story that is settled. Insider Gaming reported on September 18 that 192GB of GTA 5 and GTA 6 material was spreading online, and that none of it is new: the files trace back to the 2022 breach that put 90 development videos on the internet, the incident this site’s hacker guide covers end to end. Per that reporting, the archive sat with a handful of people for years, reached a wider circle over recent months, and then stopped being private at all, almost four years to the day after the original teapot post. PC Gamer’s write-up adds the sober footnote: the exact chain of custody is unclear, and nobody has explained why it surfaced now.

Two things follow from that. First, everything in the dump is old, mostly GTA 5 cut content with early GTA 6 material mixed in, so nothing here describes the game shipping on November 19. Second, this site’s standing rule applies: we describe what reputable outlets and named dataminers report, and we do not link or host leaked files. The wider leak history, teapot to Cyber League, lives in the leaks guide.

Liberty City, Traced Through Audio Zones

The headline find is cartographic. The GTA YouTuber TJGM located files named for a dlc_liberty package, the .rel format GTA 5 uses to define audio zones, and imported them into CodeWalker, the community map editor. Audio zones hug coastlines, which means the imported data draws an effective outline of the city it was built for, and the outline is Liberty City: multi-island, recognisably the GTA 4 layout, and larger than the whole of GTA 4’s map. A terrain test zone sat in the same data, per Insider Gaming’s summary of the findings.

Grade it honestly: an outline is a plan, not a game. There is no playable Liberty City expansion in the dump, no mission content attached to it, and the long-rumoured DLC it corroborates was cancelled more than a decade ago, around the time GTA Online became the business. What the files add to the record is scale and intent. Rockstar was not sketching a nostalgia island; it was zoning a city bigger than the one GTA 4 shipped, and then it chose not to build it.

Agent Trevor and the Ending Rockstar Rewrote

The single-player DLC that got furthest along has a name: Agent Trevor. The dataminer affmal, who has spent the days since the dump loading its map and model data into GTA 5, shared a full mission list plus the set pieces to match: a spaceship location with space suits, Franklin operating out of a mansion with a huge underground space beneath it, and an underwater base PC Gamer’s coverage compares to something out of Deus Ex. The Agent Trevor files read as more intact and substantial than the Liberty City material, which fits the era’s reporting that a Trevor-led espionage expansion was the closest GTA 5 came to story DLC.

The archive also rewrites an ending, on paper. Dialogue files describe an alternate draft of Option A, the ending where Michael and Franklin can kill Trevor, in which Trevor crashes into a liquid nitrogen tanker and freezes to death. And a recorded cutscene conversation that never shipped has GTA 4’s Brucie Kibbutz talking with Franklin, a crossover the finished game reduced to a website cameo.

The 2015 Leonida Blockout, Running in GTA 5

The GTA 6 material is the part this site actually covers, and it is a time capsule. TJGM posted screenshots of an early Leonida map loaded into GTA 5, dated to roughly 2015, and the modder Synaptic has been publishing clips of the blockout running in GTA 5’s engine: bare terrain, flat satellite-textured districts, rudimentary highways, and side-by-side comparisons against the same camera angles from the Extended Look. Markers in the files name an Alligator Farm, a Coast Guard station and a Disused Theme Park, though PC Gamer notes it is unclear whether those labels are Rockstar’s own development markers. Deeper cuts reported from the files include a town in Mount Kalaga, NASA parodies with a rocket launch area, familiar ground for the space centre guide, a shipwreck treasure museum and scrapped map concepts based on South America.

The porting is also a live legal experiment. Importing leaked Rockstar maps into GTA 5 is precisely the cross-title, leaked-asset modding that the September rulebook bans in writing, and creators covering the files report copyright strikes already landing. The last community that rebuilt Leonida inside GTA 5, working from maps rather than stolen data, got its showcase pulled in June. This wave hands Rockstar a far easier case.
