The Pipe Wrench is a melee weapon in Grand Theft Auto VI. It appeared in the August 2026 gameplay leak, reportedly sourced from an older development build, where the player picks a wrench up from a corpse and uses it in close combat.

Press analysis of the footage noted that a wrench kill escalated the wanted level to 2 stars, one of several signs that melee violence draws a sharper police response than in previous games. Rockstar has not confirmed the weapon, and details from leaked builds can change before release.
