Overview
The Nagasaki Police Buzzard is the law enforcement helicopter of Grand Theft Auto VI, a police variant built on the same airframe as the Buzzard Attack Chopper. Where the standard Buzzard borrows the armed AH-6 silhouette, this version is modelled on the unarmed MH-6 Little Bird and wears a blue and gold livery styled after real Miami Police Department choppers.
Unlike most of the Buzzard family, the Police Buzzard is a brand new vehicle that debuts with GTA VI rather than a returning classic. It seats four and tops out at roughly 99 mph (160 km/h), trading the attack chopper's firepower for a spotter platform built around patrolling Vice City from the air.
Appearances
The Police Buzzard is confirmed for GTA VI, having been shown in Rockstar's official screenshots. One night-time shot captures it over the water in full Vice City PD markings, complete with a police badge, a painted tail number and an officer riding the landing skid as a spotter.
Trivia
The Police Buzzard shares its base model with the Buzzard Attack Chopper but swaps the AH-6 attack profile for the MH-6 utility version, leaving it without the weapon hardpoints. Its open skid layout, seen carrying a spotter in the screenshots, sets it apart from the enclosed Police Maverick.
