Overview
The Buckingham Swift is the executive helicopter of Grand Theft Auto VI, a lightweight twin-engine four-seater built for moving the wealthy in comfort rather than chasing or fighting. Its smooth lines come from the AgustaWestland AW109 and Bell 222, two of the most recognisable VIP light helicopters in the real world.
Where the Maverick handles charter and news work, the Swift leans into pure luxury. In past games Rockstar even sold a designer trim with stitched leather and a punishing price tag, poking fun at high-end lifestyle branding.
Appearances
The Swift is confirmed for GTA VI, having been shown in Rockstar's official screenshots, including a dusk shot cruising over Leonida with its navigation lights lit. It is a returning model that also appeared in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V.
Trivia
At around 6,500 kg the Swift is a genuine twin-engine machine rather than a light single, which is why it carries a heavier price and presence than the Maverick. Its real-world donors, the AW109 and Bell 222, both earned fame as air-ambulance and corporate shuttles.
