Schafter

Trailer 2 catches a candy-red Schafter riding Swangas down Shore Drive, and the Extended Look doubles down with a racing version wearing its own name on the fenders.

Overview

The third-generation Schafter is one of the few cars Rockstar has named on screen. At 2:06 of the second trailer a candy-red example cruises Shore Drive in Vice Beach as a full slab build, poking Swangas and a chrome Benefactor grille badge included. The Extended Look then lingers on a racing version at 26:06 with SCHAFTER lettering across its front fender wings.

Its silhouette tracks the W205 Mercedes C-Class, with headlights closer to the W213 E-Class and a rear three-quarter that nods to the Genesis G70. The trailer car adds an M2-style front bumper and AMG-flavoured fender flares on top.

Three builds and counting

The August 2026 leak wave finally showed the stock body: a silver Schafter parked outside Salton, two more side by side in an unidentified lot, a white one heading for Peacock Bay and a red one along a Bayside kerb. Slab, racer and showroom trim make three distinct builds before launch, a hint at how deep the customisation pipeline runs.

This page covers the new third-generation car. The V12 super saloon from earlier games keeps its own entry as an expected return.
