Binoculars

The Binoculars is a piece of equipment available to players in Grand Theft Auto VI.

The Binoculars surfaced in the September 2022 GTA VI development leak. While not officially confirmed by Rockstar, leaked items have historically had a strong correlation with final-game content.

The August 2026 clips turned them into one of the wave’s most used tools. Jason raises them at the Delights Cabaret stage, at the nudist resort and on the Game Hoorde storefront, always with a distinct lens distortion effect. At the resort the view adds a SCAN prompt alongside a second, harder-to-read option, and NPCs visibly resent being watched: most curse Jason off, and one woman marches over with “What are you doing? You want a closer look?” before shoving him.

Spotted in source materials from the 2022 development leak, then used repeatedly in the August 2026 leaked clips at the strip club, the nudist resort and the Port Gellhorn game store. No trailer appearance has been publicly catalogued yet.
