ThriftEX has knocked around the HD universe since GTA IV as the brand you buy when you cannot afford Sumo. The name says it all: thrift, with an EX to make it sound engineered. The GTA Wiki’s basis list runs from General Electric to RCA to modern chipmakers, which is another way of saying it parodies the entire budget appliance shelf at once.
