Release Gum

Release is the deep cut of this wave. The liquid filled chewing gum first appeared in Vice City Stories, which makes its return in a VI era convenience store a neat full circle for the setting. It is a Candybox brand in universe, sold in peppermint, spearmint and cinnamon.

The review community matches it to Freshen Up, the real liquid centre gum of the same era. The name, as with stablemate Captain’s Log, is doing exactly what you think it is doing.
