Overview

Jagua, labelled Jagua Club on the shelf, is Vice City’s Cuban rum. The formula tracks Havana Club exactly: take a Cuban place name, add Club, sell rum. Jagua is the old name for the bay at Cienfuegos, which puts real geography behind the joke, and the review community hears a Jaguar car club pun in there too.

It anchors the bodega’s Caribbean corner beside Baracca and Salty Squid, a fitting spread for a city this close to the islands.

Real-world basis
Havana Club
Havana Club, per Jeeves Williams’ brand review. Jagua, like Havana, is a real Cuban place name, with a Jaguar car club double meaning in the label.
