BMX

The BMX announced itself in the strangest way a bicycle can: a missing poster. The bulletin board in the Venture Apartments lobby in Rockridge, visible in Trailer 2 at 1:43 and again at 0:18 of An Extended Look, carries a flyer for a lost grey BMX. The real thing follows at 9:04 of the Extended Look, a yellow one leaning outside Mami’s Grocery Market.

Bicycles sat out GTA V’s trailers entirely, so Rockstar making room for a stolen-bike joke this early reads as a promise that pedalling matters again. The BMX badge now belongs to PED Cycles, and the bike joins a genuinely crowded two-wheel ecosystem in Leonida: share bikes, e-bikes, race bikes and rental scooters all have confirmed sightings of their own.

In San Andreas the BMX could bunny-hop over fences; players have already clocked the Venture Apartments poster as a possible nod to CJ’s famously theft-prone first vehicle.
