LPL Leonida Power and Light

LPL, Leonida Power and Light, is the state’s electric utility, glimpsed in the Extended Look’s street footage. The parody is nearly a transcription: Florida Power & Light is the real state monopoly, and swapping the state name is the entire creative distance travelled, which for a utility feels appropriate.

Utilities are the least glamorous brands in any GTA city and among the most world-building. Every hurricane subplot, blackout mission or pylon climbed will carry LPL’s logo, quietly billing Vice City for the privilege.
