Hawx marks its tyres with a bird of prey, and the brand breakdowns agree on the target: Falken Tire, the Japanese performance brand with drift team credentials. One is a falcon, the other a hawk, and both misspell their bird with the same swagger.

It is a new name for the series rather than a returning one, joining the paddock beside the veteran Atomic and the unresolved Terada Tires.
